This NAME SEARCH facility provides a searchable index of all the surnames contained in the various " Family Roots". The surnames are filed under alphabetical headings.
By clicking on appropriate letters you will find all the listed surnames displayed for that letter. Each surname is followed by the reference codes for the "Family Roots" publications where that surname is contained. The codes are as follows :-
B*** = Books (see FR Books); CD*** = CDs (see FR Cd-Rom); F*** = Fiche (see FR Fiche)
(*** indicates a 3 number numeric code).
Example: GALL (B020 & C004 & F008) - where B020 identifies a book titled "Rolls of Honour in Sussex villages - Volume 8", C004 identifies a CD, and F008 identifies a fiche, both titled "Births, Marriages, Deaths and associated events as extracted from the Eastbourne Gazette - Part 2 (<1863-1870)"
